Pikes Peak Habitat kicked off its 2026 Volunteer Appreciation Event on the evening of April 22 at The Pinery on the Hill in Colorado Springs to celebrate the amazing work its Key Volunteers contributed to help build affordable housing in El Paso County. Putting on this year’s incredible event, which coincides with National Volunteer Week, was made possible by our generous sponsors at Central Bank, as well as the help from our numerous staff, board members, and supporters.
In addition to recognizing all of our Key Volunteers who contributed a minimum of 8 hours every week with Pikes Peak Habitat, we also presented awards to our stand-out volunteers and volunteer groups who went above and beyond with their commitment towards building and maintaining affordable housing within our community.
The 2026 Volunteer Appreciation Award Winners are:
Thank you to everyone who came out and made this another special event! We’d also like to give a special shoutout to the service staff at The Pinery on the Hill who served wonderful food and drinks all evening, as well as to our Pikes Peak Habitat staff in attendance who helped the event run smoothly.
