Current Builds

From foundation to finished home, witness transformation in action at Pikes Peak Habitat's current build sites where families, volunteers, and donors come together to create life-changing opportunities throughout El Paso County.

Annual Projects

Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity builds and preserves affordable homes in partnership with workforce families in El Paso County, Colorado, constructing energy-efficient, permanent housing solutions year-round with valued assistance from our volunteers.

Partnerships with donors, sponsors, and volunteers are essential to keeping our houses affordable, while our award-winning design and energy-efficient building practices ensure each home is a sustainable investment.

Each year, our team assigns a family to a “signature” build based on that family’s particular needs, timeline, and other factors. These signature builds, listed below, get their name from stand-out contributors, funding sources, faith-based programs, or veterans’ affiliations.

Previous Projects

Welcome to The Ridge at Sand Creek

In this thriving 90-lot Colorado Springs subdivision, the Love In Action foundation’s generous land donation has enabled 28 Habitat homes to take shape, with only two remaining to be built, creating a vibrant mixed-income neighborhood that has welcomed at least five new families annually.

Each Pikes Peak Habitat homeowner earns their keys through dedicated partnership—contributing 200 volunteer hours, completing comprehensive financial education, and purchasing their home with an affordable mortgage that transforms dreams into doorways for deserving El Paso County families.

Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that the land on which we meet is the traditional territory of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho Peoples. We also recognize the 48 contemporary tribal nations that are historically tied to the lands that make up this region.

Pikes Peak Habitat respects all peoples, cultures, and faiths. As we advocate for affordable homeownership, we recognize the impact of historic practices on inequities that continue today, and we commit to working toward a future in which everyone has a decent place to call home.

Coming Summer 2026: Rising Moon

Two women and a man are wearing hard hats and holding shovels at a groundbreaking ceremony. The three people are smiling while flinging dirt in the air with the shovels. A banner behind them reads "Housing for Educators" along with the Habitat for Humanity logo.

As part of the Housing for Educators program, in partnership with Widefield School District 3 (WSD3) and Careers in Construction Colorado (CICC), Pikes Peak Habitat will embark on a 41 lot development project unlike anything it’s ever done in its 40 year history.

What makes this project unique is that 14 of the 41 homes will be designated specifically for WSD3 staff, while a portion of the homes built in the neighborhood will be done so using modular construction.

By more efficiently utilizing resources, Pikes Peak Habitat is hoping to build roughly 10 houses per year.

To help us achieve our ambitious goals, you can submit a financial donation or sign up to volunteer.
