Volunteer at ReStore
Making an Impact, One Shift At A Time
Volunteering at our ReStores weaves you into the fabric of community transformation, creating ripples of change that extend throughout El Paso County. Each hour you dedicate converts donated items into essential funding for our housing initiatives, furthering our mission to build stable homes for families in El Paso County facing housing insecurity.
By donating your time, skills, or resources to the ReStore, you enable us to reduce construction costs and increase our capacity to serve more neighbors who deserve decent, secure, and affordable housing.
How Do I Volunteer at the ReStore?
ReStore volunteer orientations are held Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Please schedule orientations ahead of time – there are no new orientation walk-ins. Retail shifts are available from 9 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm, and the two ReStore locations are open Monday through Saturday.
Note: Safety and professionalism are top priorities at the ReStore, which is why all volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes and shirts with sleeves while volunteering.
To volunteer at the ReStore, visit our Community Support Directory to find the contact info for the ReStore Volunteer Manager, who will be able to help you.
Volunteer Positions
Unlock New Life Skills at the ReStore
When you join our volunteer team, you gain valuable skills while contributing to a cause that changes lives. ReStore volunteers consistently report a sense of fulfillment from knowing their efforts make real differences in our community.
Whether you’re organizing merchandise, assisting customers, or processing donations, your service creates the foundation upon which families can build their futures.
Volunteer to Support Your Community
Your participation in the ReStore operation directly translates into affordable mortgages for deserving families. By helping us maintain this sustainable funding source, you ensure that Pikes Peak Habitat can continue offering secure housing solutions that meet the unique needs of our community.
Each shift you complete—whether morning or afternoon—contributes to our model of partnering with families to create stable homes where children can thrive, parents can plan for the future, and neighborhoods are strengthened through homeownership.
Two Locations, One Mission
When you step through the doors of our Colorado Springs ReStores as a volunteer, you plant seeds that grow into homes throughout our community. Your presence transforms donated items into resources that raise walls, install windows, and build doorways, where local families find stability and hope.
