Welcome to The Ridge at Sand Creek
In this thriving 90-lot Colorado Springs subdivision, the Love In Action foundation’s generous land donation has enabled 30 future Habitat homes to take shape, creating a vibrant mixed-income neighborhood that welcomes at least five new families annually.
Each Pikes Peak Habitat homeowner earns their keys through dedicated partnership—contributing 200 volunteer hours, completing comprehensive financial education, and purchasing their home with an affordable mortgage that transforms dreams into doorways for deserving El Paso County families.
Land Acknowledgment
We acknowledge that the land on which we meet is the traditional territory of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho Peoples. We also recognize the 48 contemporary tribal nations that are historically tied to the lands that make up this region.
Pikes Peak Habitat respects all peoples, cultures, and faiths. As we advocate for affordable homeownership, we recognize the impact of historic practices on inequities that continue today, and we commit to working toward a future in which everyone has a decent place to call home.
Building a Strong Foundation
Join us at The Ridge at Sand Creek construction site, where concrete is being poured to form the foundation of a Habitat home! Our enthusiastic on-site volunteers stand ready with shovels and trowels in hand, eager to help transform this liquid mixture into the solid base upon which a family’s dreams will soon be built. Your participation today becomes literally set in stone as part of a home that will stand for generations.
