Together, We Overcome Barriers to Build Stability

Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce that we’ll be hosting the 5th Annual Interfaith Dialogue on Sunday, February 1st, from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Berger Hall, 1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.

In celebration of the United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week, join us for an inspiring afternoon of connection, reflection, and engaging dialogue across varying faith traditions. Hear from future Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity homeowner, Amanda, as well as a dynamic panel of community leaders. Enjoy appetizers and warm conversation as you learn more about Pikes Peak Habitat and build relationships with fellow community members.

Held on the first day of the U.N. World Interfaith Harmony Week, the Pikes Peak Habitat Interfaith Dialogue aims to bring together people of all faiths and those of no faith to discover what unites us. Too often, we spend time and energy focusing on the things that divide us. Join us for an afternoon focused on celebrating our differences while finding commonality with one another. While we may not agree on the details of our religions or belief systems, we’ve found that we can be united under the banner of affordable homeownership. Let us focus on what we do agree on: everyone deserves a decent place to live.

The event will feature facilitated discussion among participants of varying faith traditions; a dynamic panel discussion with leaders from Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity, the City of Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak Housing Network, and Elevation Community Land Trust; and a warm mingle and meet reception.
