Team Build as A Group
Building New Opportunities
When your team volunteers together with Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity, you’ll experience authentic team building through shared, meaningful work that fosters genuine connections. Unlike conventional activities, our projects deliver clear, tangible outcomes that strengthen relationships and improve communication.
Your team will develop practical skills under expert guidance while demonstrating a commitment to community investment. Many volunteers report increased motivation, improved perspective, and a renewed sense of purpose that carries back to their workplace or organization.
Furthering the Mission Together
Group volunteers form the backbone of our ability to provide permanent, affordable housing solutions in El Paso County. A well-coordinated team can accomplish in hours what might otherwise take days, allowing us to serve more families more quickly while significantly reducing construction costs.
Each group that volunteers becomes an ambassador for our mission, extending our reach through their networks. These partnerships foster a collaborative approach to addressing housing insecurity and create meaningful connections between Pikes Peak Habitat and diverse sectors of our community.
Volunteer Testimonial
“Our youth ministry’s weekend build project became so much more than community service hours. Seeing our students problem-solve together and develop confidence with tools was remarkable. The conversations that emerged while working side-by-side about faith, service, and justice will stay with them far longer than any sermon.”
When young people engage in hands-on service, they develop practical skills and confidence while naturally exploring deep connections between their faith and community responsibility. For faith leaders seeking to nurture compassionate, service-oriented youth, Pikes Peak Habitat provides a structured environment where abstract values become tangible actions.
Volunteer Programs
Construction
Joining Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity’s construction team offers a unique opportunity to directly impact your community while learning valuable skills under the guidance of experienced site supervisors.
All volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate in construction activities, with no exceptions made for safety reasons.
The construction team welcomes both skilled builders and complete beginners to their Wednesday through Saturday build schedule, where teams work from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., creating affordable housing solutions for deserving families.
ReStore
Volunteering at Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore donation center provides a vibrant, community-centered experience where your efforts directly support affordable housing initiatives.
