Donate Construction Supplies to the ReStore!
We appreciate your donations of construction supplies! Material donations are not used in Pikes Peak Habitat-built homes. Instead, our ReStores sell the items at a low cost to the general public or recycle them.
If you have a donation of large building materials, please call 719.667.0840 to verify which store has the capacity to accept your donation. Thanks!
Please note that exceptions to our usual guidelines may be made by drivers, receiving, and management. Some items may be denied due to current store needs. Please e-mail or call 719.667.0840 with questions.
Your donations, whether sold or recycled, produce funding for the mission of Pikes Peak Habitat to help families in El Paso County and beyond build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable housing. Thank you!
Donation Guidelines
Hardware and Tools
We accept many kinds of hardware and fasteners, and all handheld and electric tools. Please inform us of any broken or unusable tools so we can appropriately recycle them. Power tools must be empty of any oil or gas.
- Door and cabinet hardware
- Fasteners
- Nails, screws, washers, etc.
- Hand tools
- Bench tools (empty of oil and gas)
- Recyclable metal tools
Insulation
We accept new rolled or sheet insulation. Unbagged insulation will not be accepted.
- Insulation batts, bagged
- Blow-in insulation, bagged
- Rigid insulation, bagged
Lumber and Trim
Lumber and trim must be four feet or longer, in good condition, unwarped, free of water damage, and free of all nails, screws, and adhesives.
- Lumber four feet or greater

Sheet Goods and Roofing
- Drywall 4x4 feet or greater
- Plywood 4x4 feet or greater
- Siding
- Roofing materials
- Rolled roofing
- Tar paper
- Roofing membrane
