What would you do to help build a Habitat house?

Mountain Country KQSC (107.3-FM/1530-AM) local morning show co-hosts Dave West and Lorelei “Lo” Harris attempted to make or break five world records in a week! Scroll down to see links to the action!

A single father of five and grandfather of six, Rick is about to receive a gift he’s dreamed of for years: stability. Mountain Country KQSC is helping him get there. Dave and Lo are determined to help build a house for U.S. Army veteran Rick and his twin daughters and encourage their listeners and viewers to donate to the Veteran Build to finish the house and help Rick become a homeowner.

From December 11-15 the radio duo made all of their attempts on-air and live on Facebook – follow Mountain Country here and Pikes Peak Habitat here. Each world record was unveiled and announced daily. Mountain Country promised and delivered an amusing, exciting, and perhaps even terrifying week of entertainment. Don’t miss the fun!

Mountain Country, a family owned and operated radio station in Colorado Springs, joined Pikes Peak Habitat as a community partner, donating a large amount of airtime and employee efforts to raise funds. Now, they’re taking their support to the next level to finish the Veteran Build. Join the challenge and please donate to the Veteran Build today!
