The service of volunteers enables our homes and home repairs to be affordable for workforce families in El Paso County.
Construction Site
- Volunteers MUST be 16 or older to volunteer with Habitat on the construction site. No exceptions.
- We build Wednesday – Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
ReStore
- Volunteer hours are Monday–Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 2-6 p.m.
- Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes. No tank tops allowed.

Community Service
We welcome you to complete your community service hours with Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity. Please understand that it is your responsibility to contact Front Range Community Services, get set up with them, and ensure that they provide us with your information before you sign up to volunteer with us.

Habitat for Humanity is committed to supporting a respectful and ethical workplace, safeguarding the rights of those we serve, and properly stewarding our donors’ funds and resources. In service to that commitment, and in accordance with its foundational mission principles, Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity opposes any form of discrimination, harassment, exploitation and abuse.

Background Checks
Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity requires volunteer background / sex offender checks for all key volunteers. A key volunteer is defined as: (1) any volunteer, who, through Habitat programming, has consistent and direct contact with vulnerable populations; or (2) repeat volunteers who consistently volunteer for more than 8 hours per month after 3 consistent months. This policy is effective for all new key volunteers as of July 1, 2023. If you are a new volunteer who starts on or after July 1, 2023, you will be subject to this policy if you meet the requirements of a key volunteer. If you qualify as a key volunteer and refuse the background / sex offender checks, you will not be able to continue to volunteer.

Getting Started
Pikes Peak Habitat encourages volunteers to bring their own water bottles to aid our efforts to reduce single-use plastics on our construction sites!
