Pikes Peak Habitat Homeowner Kayla Describes What Home Has Meant to Her Family

During the 2024 Apostles Build Kickoff Event, current Pikes Peak Habitat homeowner Kayla spoke to attendees about the difference that having a safe, affordable place to call home has meant for her and her two kids. After moving into her home, Kayla said that for the first time in their lives, her teenage children have a safe home they can invite friends to visit. Kayla said, "Now, not only do we have a home, but we have a community."

Check out the video to learn more about Kayla's experience as a homeowner in The Ridge at Sand Creek neighborhood.
