Monique has the privilege of telling stories of the lives impacted by Pikes Peak Habitat – our homeowners, volunteers, donors, staff, board members, and community partners – through media interactions, website and social media content, newsletters, and other communications. She also is spearheading the development of our affiliate's book club.
After growing up in Colorado Springs, Monique moved away to pursue educational and career opportunities. Prior to returning to El Paso County in 2021, she worked in marketing and communications at the Savannah College of Art and Design and served as a faculty member at Georgia Southern University.
When she isn't working, Monique enjoys reading, writing, photography, and spending time in nature with her partner and their dogs.
