Join Pikes Peak Habitat for the 4th Interfaith Build for Unity (IBU) home dedication and the 5th IBU ground blessing.
- Attend a religious service of another tradition than your own.
- Introduce yourself to your next-door neighbors.
- Share a meal with a friend who has a faith tradition or belief system other than your own, and ask meaningful, open-ended questions. Come to the conversation looking to learn.
- Attend a city council meeting to stay informed about local issues.
- Watch Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity's Bridgebuilding Interfaith Collaboration Video Series. This was our contribution to the Team Up Project, a White House initiative focused on bridgebuilding. Founding partner organizations were Catholic Charities USA, Habitat for Humanity International, Interfaith America, and YMCA of the USA.
- Read My Neighbor's Faith: Stories of Interreligious Encounter, Growth, and Transformation edited by Jennifer Howe Peace, Or N. Rose, and Gregory Mobley. As a follow-up to our 4th interfaith dialogue, "United We Build: Together Building Homes, Building Lives," join our discussion of this book of stories about interfaith encounters.
